Ocean Highlands
This project contracted through Centex Homes basically doubled the population of Netarts, Oregon in one season. Major highlights of this 156 Lot Subdivision include Clearing (25 Acres), Mass Excavation (400,000CY), Imported Granular Embankment (150,000CY), (2) Large Storm Retention Structures, Sewer-Water Piping (15,000LF), Pump Station and Highway 101 Improvements. This very challenging project was constructed in sensitive coastal terrain in one construction season.
Kensington Bluff
J.T. Smith Companies Project built for D.R. Horton in the City of Happy Valley Oregon. This subdivision was constructed on a side hill with elevation differences of 800′ from top to bottom. The transformation of the area required the Mass Excavation of 475,000CY that was placed in terraces to create level lots with beautiful views. Along with mass excavation the project also featured Sanitary/Storm/Water Piping(10,000LF), Roads(5000LF) and Open Space Path work of 2500LF. The grade control for this project was all accomplished via 3D-GPS technology with the appropriate efficiencies passed on to the owner. “Steep terrain is no problem”.
